i downloaded ios15 the other day and now all of my photos with a transparent background that i use for my everyday advertising are now showing up in my gallery with a solid white backgrounds. i have them stored in my folders and when i save them to camera roll, it automatically converts them and they no longer have a transparent background. please help!

This stupid issue is driving me CRAZY. I literally cannot create gifs or do my design work anymore because my iPad refuses to to save png transparent images. It's so dumb. I paid almost $2K for something that can be supported with a $800 non IOS laptop.. it's ridiculous. I hope Apple does something about this.
I don't know if you've found a solution to this already, but I've noticed that if I save my pngs to files, they retain transparency. Most of the time anyway. Might be hit or miss. Give it a try.
SOMEONE PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE. I just got my new iPhone 13 pro & cannot believe this is an issue. It’s affecting my marketing for my business & honestly just frustrating overall.
Agreed I use it for the same thing. Apple support on the phone blamed me for not knowing what I was doing.
I have found that if I save my PNG to FILES instead of photos, I retain transparency.
Check my reply, you can fix this issue by saving the files in Png from photoshop. It totally worked for me
I started having the same issue the last couple of days once I went to 15 dot two. One it is so ridiculous that Apple cannot fix this
Yes, but it’s selective. It’s quite strange. (As in, not all files converted to white background). I hope you have solved it.. so that I could glean and resolve mine too.
waiting for taxes so I can just switch to an Android which I really don’t wanna do. But if it helps me Im do it
