IOS 15 - Mail being marked as read before being opened

I restarted after each delete. Doesn’t work for me.

Just updated to 15.1.1 still doing it I even

deleted email account shut phone down

and reinstalled email account……

Yes…. Today I updated to 15.1.1 and still

doing it even after I deleted account and added back….. I can’t take it anymore….

Since updating to iOS 15.1 and rebooting my iPhone afterwards I never saw this issue again.

That’s exactly when my problem started! Once I updated to 15.1, I started having email problems.

This is happening with optimum email. Not gmail not exchange.

I just upgraded from the xs max to the 13 pro max. Same issue with my optimum email. I thought it was a software upgrade issue which would go away in an update or 2. It has not.

I'm having the same issue. Optimum upgraded the online GUI and whatever they changed is causing this issue. I have removed and added the account but the issue persists

That was my original thought, but I’m having no trouble with optimum email on my MacBook. Apple is aware of the problem, and I have a call with engineering on Monday.

After a few calls with engineering and going through that

process I was told that it shud be fixed on the next update…well I updated to 15.2 and still doing it…..

I was told the same. Now, 2 updates later, nothing has changed. I also realized that some email are also spontaneously DELETING.

Same, it’s been happening for months now. Apple says it’s optimum and optimum has no answer

I continue to have the same problem even after the most recent update. Please resolve. All optonline.net emails marked as read.

I too downloaded the latest update and the problem persists. This is absolutely ridiculous.
