Dual Sim and Text Messaging

I just had Dual Sim installed on an iPhone11 Pro. As promised, I could choose which line to call from by going into the Phone App and tapping on the "Primary" window. However, I can not choose which line to text message from. There is no window to tap. The Message Application simply shows a list of text messages, and there's no way to tell to which of my two lines a text message was sent.

I talked to Verizon about this and they said it's an Apple problem. Maybe. Maybe not. Is anyone familiar with this issue? I can go into settings and choose the originating no. for sending a text message, but that's a huge, unnecessary hassle!
