iphone 13 pro max screen dimming

Me too, google led me here and now I see this is an ongoing issue. Starting to think upgrading wasn’t a good idea.

The same if u updating or not.

I had some success with turning off “reduce white point”. I also found that I like setting “Smart Invert” to on in this situation. Helps a bit too. I am starting to like using it all the time.

I know this thread is old but this 100% worked for me and noticed the brightness go back up immediately. Thanks for the info!

Try the trick above where you disable Attention Aware Features, it works. Did you not see that post? I’m surprised people keep posting having trouble when the solution has been posted.

That suggestion didn’t work with my phone and several other people have tried it without success. None of the suggestions on here have worked, actually, so it’s not really the solution.

Maybe that’s bcuz it didn’t work for some people? 🙄🙄🙄

Same here on a iPhone 13pro max and none of it work’s for me sadly…don’t know if I should get a genius appointment for this and if they would replace my phone?!

That sucks. Thankfully it worked for me. I can’t think of any other solution. Hopefully they’ll find a solution.

Brand new 13 Pro Max with the dimming issue. I have tried all of the afore mentioned "solutions" and the problem persists. Wondering now if I made a mistake by trading in my Android phone.
