just purchased iPhone 13. trying to restore backup from former iPhone SE (iPhone SE was destroyed and unable to migrate) clicked on latest backup (yesterday early morning) only to receive "cannot restore backup server currently unavailable try again later" is this a corrupt backup issue or a wifi strength issue or?

Yes I go and click settings at top where it shows your name click it then click passwords change your password it will ask to keep other devices signed in click no sign out of all devices then put in new password. Then hard reboot the device your having issues with it should then let you restore from backup. Some iCloud glitch with other devices signed into your account even your old phone. Could be the culprit.

Hey I am having a very similar issue. My old phone broke. i went to the apple store and they gave me a new one because i have apple care (both are iPhone SE 2020). they tried to restore my phone in store but it did not work. this error kept popping up: Cannot Restore Backup - The server is currently unavailable. Try again later to finish setting up your phone. later = 2 days now. i tried to use itunes to restore but my recent backup doesn't show up in itunes. it only shows up as an option for my new phone and it used to be verifiable on my old phone. please help. i had a lot of valuable logs on my phone.
hello, I'm having a somewhat similar problem. I was looking at my old backup and decided to make a copy of the current one. the current one replaced the old one and now I can't find the old one.
