Upload to iCloud Paused (messages) OCT 2021

I just charged mine for 3 nights straight and it finally all loaded.

Yeah it returned for me too, so I plugged in again and it went away. But I agree this is a crappy solution to have to plug in for it to disappear. Maybe they will fix it on next update, or maybe they don’t care, lol. It is quite annoying!!

Similar to the others - my messages finally showed up after charging it over night a couple of nights but I never got my 200 photos back. The photos that seems to be missing were ones from other people I had gotten in messages. So still a bit of a mystery.

I am having the same problem...has anyone had any success with resolving this issue?

I thought so too, returned later in the day. Did not resolve. Try the latest public beta or wait til 15.2.

I’m having the same issues as well with my new iPhone 13 pro. Have plenty of cloud storage, battery is not in low power mode. Constantly get that message (upload to iCloud paused), etc….I’ve also noticed wifi drops randomly at times (though not when I receive this message), as well as the CarPlay issues referenced above.

I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one. Yes, it’s driving me crazy as well. Best part is this was my replacement phone for another iPhone 13 pro (thought I had a lemon) that had the same issues in addition to overheating. So, not sure what to do at this point.

This is terrible. Same thing happened to me too. I only noticed it because i lost all text messages from 10/17-12/4 & most of these are business related. Keep getting same message everybody else is getting. Leave connected and still does not download. Please help! I need to get my messages back & nothing will download from iCloud.

My husband and I just got 13 Pro Max phones. Within an hour of being activated we both began experiencing this error. I’ve tried for a couple of days to try to clear the errors to no avail. Our batteries are fine. We have very strong WiFi in our home.

I had trouble with my Carplay also (2019 Acura RDX) on both my iPhone 12 and 13. I finally noticed that when I made sure to turn OFF my radio at the end of the day the issue stopped. Don’t know if that was the fix or if Acura and Apple finally fixed it in the last updates.

I tried to reply to you, Apple removed my comment. Yes, I am having the same problem. I will likely lose 22G of messages. After 5 separate contacts to Apple, no one is able to help. I tried a solution that was listed in this thread, it did not work for me.

Same issue as everyone else here and in numerous other threads.

Sadly, iOS 15.3 software update has also not solved this bug. So frustrating how long this is taking to be resolved. It’s not good enough to be honest. Here’s hoping it’s fixed soon.

Just want my photos back in my messages. :( Surely that is not a unreasonable ask Apple?

Got me hopeful but no, unfortunately, signed out/signed in several times, rebooted, signed out from the old phone, rebooted. Seems like no amount of signing out and rebooting fixes that problem for me.

One thing I noticed when signing out of iCloud on the new phone is a message telling me that my phone and iCloud message accounts where different. No idea how to fix that. Anybody?
