Volume of Siri during navigation

Before updating to ios15 I could just click the gray carrot at the bottom of navigation and change the volume of the GPS voice. Now that isn’t an option. I’ve also tried going under settings, maps…but then there aren’t any options for volume no matter what tab I click. I can’t hear the GPS voice unless I have my car’s volume cranked and then the music is deafening so I turn it off. So I either can’t hear the GPS voice, but get to hear music or I sit in silence so I can turn the volume up high enough to hear the navigation voice. Is this an ios15 issue or am I missing something??
