Iphone Keyboard Problem Switching In & Out Of “123” keyboard

Hi, how do i stop my keyboard from switching randomly to “123” keyboard when typing in the “abc” keyboard?

I will be typing and it will randomly do it in every sentence i write and im not even close to the “123” button… example: hi h9w -4e yo7 it… it switches in and out. (This whole time typing i have been retyping things because its happening.

I have been having this issue with all previous iphones in the past and never figured it out but this is still happening on my new Iphone 13 Pro Max?! You’d think it wouldn’t happen especially now.

Please help because its soooooo annnoying 🥺

I have been having the same problem on both the iPhone 12 and 13. I went through all the keyboard settings and changed the Haptic Touch from “fast” to “slow”. It is in settings>accessibility>touch>Haptic Touch.

Ever since I made that change it doesn’t switch to numbers while I am typing.

This has been suggested before and unfortunately didn’t work for me. I’ve still got it set to slow and it’s still horrendous trying to type a message! Glad it worked for you tho.

Me too it is super annoying. Although, when i reset th3 keyboard lik3 th36 suggest3;… wait no, it/ happ3ning again! Grrrrrr

I press on the number 1while trying to dial it does not operate and stuck like I have not pushed it.how to fix it.

I'm having the same problem with my 13 Pro Max. Extremely disappointing and frustrating. I previously had a 6s Plus for six years and I did't have this issue.

Hi, sorry to bother you. Did you get a solution to your issue? Just got a 13 pro max and same issue is happening to me. I’ll be typing a number and the keyboard will switch itself to ABC…

I am having the same problem. I spent 4 hours with apple support -on the phone trying to figure this out. I tried everything and it still has the same problem.

Literally same. It’s so annoying. I was supposed to hear back from an apple rep again today and nothing.
