Iphone Keyboard Problem Switching In & Out Of “123” keyboard

There are enough people here for an important complaint, yet Apple is not doing anything. What is this forum actually for? What happened to Apples integrity? You are acting more and more like an airline company.

I have been a faithful Apple customer for 15 years and the only time that there was an issue (Mac Book 2011), Apple reimbursed us who had a failed product a little money for the trouble. Did not fix the issue but it was better than nothing. Does the company not take responsibility for issues with keyboards anymore? Both appointments at the Genius Bar that I had were negligent, and tried to get rid of the problem by saying it's a software issue but couldn't help passed that point. Now every time I have to type my messages, every single time they are full of typos, and I have to correct as I go. A message that would take 2 second takes 30, and so forth.

Software problem...How about you Fix the keyboard problem so that the "software problem" is no longer affecting the keyboard?

I think it’s apple in general, cause I have an iPhone 12 and this has been going on ever since the last few updates. my phone has now been updated to iOS 16 but it’s still doing it. But glad I’m not the only one with this issues. maybe if enough people complain about it it’ll get fixed I guess.

Did this ever get resolved as I am having the sam3 problem with my brand new iPhone 14 pro max and it’s sooooo annoying. I literally can’t type without the numbers coming up. Please can someone at apple fix this or tell m3 wh3t I can do it fix it.

it still has not been resolved. I’ve been passed around again and again from “supervisor” to “supervisor” and literally all they do is take notes and then say someone else will be taking over the case.

my advice everyone: stick to androids

Yep, Apple doesn't care. I can't for the life of me figure out why they'd want to be losing paying customers this way. This is how you work your way out of business, Apple. I'm getting pretty close to saying 'good riddance', myself.

That happens to me too on the iPhone 13 Pro Max ,but I thought it was me touching something, but is hard to know what you touched before it changes from letters to numbers, it’s really annoying and if Apple don’t do nothing about it they’ll be loosing a lot of customers and I’ll be the first one , you pay bib bucks to have a good and efficient phone , that issue make me waiste a lot of time , and time is money

Im done with apple been fighting with this issue touch screen not working cellular connection wont work have to do a hard reset on my 13 pro max 30 times a day for it to work. Apple dont care just paid the phone off they control it im done with apple they can kiss my a**** sick of paying a grand for junk

Having same problem. R3start and factory reset didn’t fix it.

im having the same issue too! Reached out to Apple. Even got a new 13 pro. Same issue. Even restarted as a new phone. Same issue! They can’t figure it out. Even replaced screen. Still a problem!

I have the exact same issue. I also had it with the iPhone 12. Out of interest do you all use a screen protector? wondering if it’s those causing a issue but I doubt it. It’s hugely frustrating.

This doesn't work! It only started happening with the iPhone 13 Pro.

Are all casetify cases the same or is there a specific one that’s wider than others that helps with this fix?

I think as long as the case is thick. All casetify cases are wide enough.

WOW could it really be that simple? Ok, going to give it a try. It's driving me nuts!!
