Iphone Keyboard Problem Switching In & Out Of “123” keyboard

I’m still having the same problem on my second new iPhone 13 pro. Went into the Apple store and they replaced my phone for me but it still has the problem! Funny thing is they never recommended this reset of keyboard.

I have the same problem! It doesn’t happen to my previous iPhone . Contacted the support several times, their advice to restart, reset all settings and I am now with iOS v15.1.1, but issue still persists!

Having the exact same problem. It just started today, 11/27, seemingly out of nowhere. Keyboard is randomly changing T’s to 5’s and generally glitching. I have the iPhone 13 Pro which I just started using a few weeks ago. Have never had this issue with any other iPhone model, and this keyboard was fine on the current phone until now. Notably, I have been using the same case the entire time I’ve had the phone so it does not seem to be related.

I did a keyboard dictionary reset to no avail, and restarted my phone several times. Hoping there is a resolution soon.

same issue on two phones an old iphone 7 and a 13. tried all the suggested solutions except the case. Hard to believe Apple cannot resolve this one. Seriously considering ditching them at next phone replacement. Cannot have this going on indefinitely. Get your act together Apple

Can anyone tell me if they’ve gotten a solution to this problem or not? It’s driving me INSANE. even just attempting to type this message out has been a beast because it’s continuously switching to numbers !

I’ve had this keyboard issue with the X, the 12, 12 pro max, and now my 13 pro. My husband had the 12 pro max and now the 13 pro max and I can type on his phone no problem, never had the same issue on his devices. I’m using an otter box commuter case that hugs the sides and doesn’t touch the screen. My keyboard flips to numeric almost every time I hit the letter “T”. Makes me want to throw it out of a window after smashing it with a hammer.

I have this exact problem. But luckily only when using Discord or Twitch app. BTW i have this problem on a Ipad, and i did try out all solutions that came up here. It just does not work. I dont think apple cares at all. I have contacted them multiple times about this but they just dont give a ****. I really hope they all get this annoying problem too. Because than they have to do something. I am so lucky that it only happends in apps for me, but i feel with all 200+ of you who are suffering from this Curse. This is such a annoying thing but there is just no fix for it. This shows again, that Apple does not care about their customers.

I thought it was me! My hubby said “you always have phone issues”. We got the same phone on the same day and he doesn’t have the issue. Course he doesn’t type much. It’s so VERY VERY annoying. A $1000+ phone should not do this. I had a iPhone 7 for years had not issues. Then decided I might need a new ph. But a new ph should not do this. Wish Apple would get their heads out of their *** and fix this I’m sure with their technology they could figure it out. Hopefully soon before I go crazy on this phone.

how about you build your own company up from the ground from nothing to everything, and produce millions and millions of products and send them all across the country and globe and see if they don’t get damaged or have any defects

No I have not. I have tried turning off restarting and several other things suggested. But nothing! Very frustrating when you pay 1000 for a phone and it has these kind of issues that seem to be simple to fix with their knowledge.

I have t)3 same pr9blem, this is me typing normally and this is how often it happens. I am tired of having t9 live all day with this glitch. I h903 that all of us can change our device for one that works properly wit)974 having to spend t99 much t8’e working for Apple.

Literally having the same exact experience right now. While I was in the store for the second or third time I even pointed out to staff that one of the DISPLAY iPhone 13s had this same glitch!! It’s such a nuisance. I think they need to be recalled

There are enough people here for an important complaint, yet Apple is not doing anything. What is this forum actually for? What happened to Apples integrity? You are acting more and more like an airline company.

I have been a faithful Apple customer for 15 years and the only time that there was an issue (Mac Book 2011), Apple reimbursed us who had a failed product a little money for the trouble. Did not fix the issue but it was better than nothing. Does the company not take responsibility for issues with keyboards anymore? Both appointments at the Genius Bar that I had were negligent, and tried to get rid of the problem by saying it's a software issue but couldn't help passed that point. Now every time I have to type my messages, every single time they are full of typos, and I have to correct as I go. A message that would take 2 second takes 30, and so forth.

Software problem...How about you Fix the keyboard problem so that the "software problem" is no longer affecting the keyboard?

I think it’s apple in general, cause I have an iPhone 12 and this has been going on ever since the last few updates. my phone has now been updated to iOS 16 but it’s still doing it. But glad I’m not the only one with this issues. maybe if enough people complain about it it’ll get fixed I guess.

Did this ever get resolved as I am having the sam3 problem with my brand new iPhone 14 pro max and it’s sooooo annoying. I literally can’t type without the numbers coming up. Please can someone at apple fix this or tell m3 wh3t I can do it fix it.
