Error Message Failed to personalise the software updated. Please try again"

Hi, Im trying to upgrade to 11.6 but I get the message: "Failed to personalise the software updated. Please try again" ... which I did but keeps coming over and over again. It happens after the update has been downloaded completely. I own a new M1 Chip Macbook Pro from this year.



Anybody has an idea on how I can get passed this ?

If you get a personalization error when reinstalling macOS on your Mac with Apple M1 chip

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211983



if you do not have a second Mac you may have to visit an Apple store for assistance with the Configurator software
