I was getting double (or more) the speeds on the same network (Rogers Canada) on my iphone 12 pro max. Since i upgraded to 13 pro max everything is much slower. I reset my network settings and restarted the phone multiple times with no luck!
Anyone else experiencing a similar issue?

So I just upgraded to an unlocked iPhone 13. Pro max 256gb today, bought it unlocked from apple and activated it on boost mobile, no issues, then later on I notice that the phone is downloading at less then 3g speeds in a full 5g area, so after doing some research, I disabled my 3rd party vpn (Torguard) reset all network settings and viola! iPhone 13 Pro is the SLOWER cellphone ever!! Highly regret purchasing it. I'm still using my 11 Pro as a second phone for my business, and the 13 PRO is absurdly slower than the 11 Pro! Not just the 5g is slower, when connected on wifi is extremely slower, ALL the apps are slower in the 13 pro, the phone is impossible to use. For the first time in 10 years as an Apple client I'm very motivated to try out a Galaxy instead.
My wife and I have the same exact cell service and the same exact data plan. I have to rely on her second generation SE for all things internet when we're out and about because my 13 Pro Max is useless when not connected to Wifi, trying to use the internet has become an absolute joke. So how is that a cell carrier issue and not a phone hardware issue? Again, her SE works great.
It's not suspicious, I'm giving you facts.
If you want to accuse me of defending Apple, feel free, but a few seconds spent with an Internet search engine will find the same complaints from owners of other vendors' 5G phones as well.

I upgraded from my IPhone 7 Plus to an IPhone 13 Pro Max and it feels slower than my 7 honestly :/ this is why I’m here to see if im not the only one
Same here.. I think it's the firmware trying too hard to preserve battery
It all depends upon your WiFi router and environment.
My WIFI gives me similar results are yours but cellular Data (LTE/4G/5G) is extremely slow. This thread is about cell data but maybe some have problems with their wifi too
I am experiencing the same issues! I’ve even deleted a bunch of apps , photos , and everything else that is recommended!

Same here. Ive done everything. spent days on phone with my carrier AND APPLE and still nothing
Sadly that’s the way many carriers tend to be; they don’t even take action when Apple asks.
I did and went through all the troubleshooting, even sharing location information to the zones and areas where I’ve experience bad signal. Nothing helped!
I am using the same wifi at home, sitting in the same living room at home and my old Samsung has nearly 10 times more speed. How can this be explained?
