I barely used my new iphone which I got last Monday night 2 nights ago. I noticed overheating while I was transferring files from my old phone and while it is connected with charger. It doesn’t have protective film nor casing yet so I don’t use it at all. And now, that I’m using it for browsing AT&T website for an hour, I found it overheating again.. No youtube or other apps were used. And still without protective case.

I have noticed for past week my iPhone 13 pro overheats as well and not during charging, just regular scrolling through Fb or some activity at amazon or eBay. top half portion gets extremely hot and becomes uncomfortable to even hold the phone. should I stop by at apple location for them to have a look at it? its not getting any better
First, have you updated to 15.4.1?

Charge it more often, all night everyt night as recommended.
If it does not give you an error message and shut down, then it is not too hot.

it gets really hot until the point Im scared to hold it in my hand cause it might explote

I have had my iphone pro for 3 days and the back feels hot. much hotter then any other phone i HAVE HAD.
My brand new iPhone 13 Pro was HOT to the touch. No case on it and a asn’t sitting in the sun. Just simple charging. Not a case of simple overheating. Continues to have heat issues.
Actually Bluetooth is a powerhog and uses lots of energy. As soon as I turned mine off the phone started cooling down.
Plus if you turn off Bluetooth then it doesn’t connect to your watch or other devices.
