New Refurbished MacBook Pro Running *Too* Slow!

Hello,

I just got a refurbished 2020 Macbook Pro with the M1 chip. I used Migrant Assist to transfer over my data from my 2012 Macbook Pro with an Intel chip. I think it might have corrupted some files on my new mac, or something.

When I load a website or app on my old mac and new mac at the same time, my old mac beats it. I did an EtreCheckPro Report, it is attached. It looks like the major issue is Heavy CPU Usage. Can I fix this on my own or do I need to bring it into the Apple Store? Thanks for help!

You have NVIDIA CUDA drivers in your system image. they have no hope of running on your Apple graphics processors.

You have silverlight installed. It is no longer supported by its maker, but is no longer needed.

You have Chrome installed. It is the most common inefficient resource hog that will run on the Mac. You should actively seek an alternative Browser, as you have only 8GB of RAM, and it is using up most of it to do very ordinary things that Firefox or Safari could do faster with a far smaller footprint.

Your spotlight index is generating errors. Consider rebuilding the spotlight index, which takes a few hours of not-asleep background time:
