iPhone bought in Mexico

Can I buy an iPhone in Mexico and use it in the us? Can I transfer my data from my old phone onto it? Can I save all that data somewhere as a precaution so it doesn’t get lost?

iPhone SE, iOS 14

Hello,

It is not recommended due to warranty considerations. Generally, the warranty is only valid in the country of purchase.

Otherwise, it would probably work OK. Just backup to the iCloud as a precaution:

Good luck.
