Is there a way to delete--not just sign out-- of an old game center account? I am annoyed that Apple turns this account back on after some updates. I don't use it any more and just want it gone. it is possible to do this w/o deleting my entire Apple ID?

On your Mac, open System Preferences > Internet Accounts. Can you select your Game Center account and remove it there?

There isn't a way to delete the Game Center account because this would delete your Apple ID. Your Game Center account is connected to your Apple ID and cannot be deleted without deleting it.

thank you but i did that two years ago when I stopped gaming. it is gone on all devices and yet, when there is a system update, i know go to game center and my accounts turned back on. the tis why I want to delete it all together. Apple updates. in essence e,. change my preferences by re-opening game center.
