I recently traded in my old iPhone for the new IPhone 13. I’m experiencing one very annoying keyboard glitch. While trying to type, the keyboard will switch from displaying letters to displaying numbers and symbols. This happens mid-sentence or mid-word, making it very difficult to type.

I suggest that you try a Forced Restart which can solve a multitude of problems...
Sorry that didn't work. You may need to make an appointment at the nearest Apple Store for an evaluation and explanation of your options.
