iPhone 13 keyboard glitch

I recently traded in my old iPhone for the new IPhone 13. I’m experiencing one very annoying keyboard glitch. While trying to type, the keyboard will switch from displaying letters to displaying numbers and symbols. This happens mid-sentence or mid-word, making it very difficult to type.
