I did a clean install of Windows 11 and then added the icloud app from the Windows app store. The login screen will usually appear but after entering the access code the program disappears.
Sometimes it looks like the program opens and closes several times but I have yet to get logged in.
Tried removing, rebooting and reinstalling with the same result.
Logging in on the website with no problem, only the app is giving me issues.
I updated Windows 11 to the October/2021 pack and the iCloud works a lot better.
It is an optimal update, I suggest you try it.
Go to Windows 11 Control Panel, Windows Update, and Download the October/21 pack.
Lo unico que pude hacer es EJECUTAR COMO ADMINISTRADOR (CONSEGUIR PERMISO DE LECTURA EN WINAPPS PARA SU USUARIO) . Puedo ahora ingresar mi usuario y puedo configurarlo.
ESPERO QUE APPLE REALICE LAS ACTUALIZACIONES PERTINENTES.

Hola, yo también tengo el mismo problema desde que actualicé a Windows 11 Microsoft soport dice que el proveedor debe generar una nueva version para windows 11.

I have the same problem. Just bought a new Laptop with Windows 11. Update to the latest version until today, 10/17/2021, but the iCloud doesn't start.
Help us, I change the laptop and rely on iCloud storage.

I have the same problem. I get to varying stages during the sign-on procedure, then the login screen goes blank and shuts down, and the app appears to cycle on and off for a while before giving up. Apple and Microsoft not playing nicely?
I just got the logging screen. The second one that you activate the iCloud and Photos doesn't appears to me.
I will way few days to see if some help us or I will go back do Windows 10.
Today appears the 10/2021 cumulative update and now I could open the control panel and I activated iCloud Drive and Photos.
But it closed alone after a while.
Maybe a windows 11 problem?
Win 11 and the app fully up to date but no change in behaviour. Can't think of anything else to try.
