After updated my iPad Air 4th and mi iPhone 11 to iOS 15.0.1 last week, my Apple Books app when I use the two fingers speak content I get the error “ No speakable content could be found on the screen”

After updated my iPad Air 4th and mi iPhone 11 to iOS 15.0.1 last week, my Apple Books app with all my EPUB books, when I use the TWO Fingers speak content I get the error “No speakable content could be found on the screen”.

Speak content only works if a make a selection of the word or the paragraph. Also it works (the two fingers) with all my PDF and DOC documents and online.

Is there any new setting that I’m missing, because I’ve checked and it looks normal. I haven’t found any solution online, except for resetting to factory default, and that is painful.

Please is there any easy solution?

Great news! I deleted the Books app and installed it again and it works. Attention, in my case, I had all the content on icloud so I didn't lose any book, check it out so you don't lose anything. Greetings and I hope it works for you.

I have exactly the same problem. I actually have a second phone with my active account which, because I haven't updated it, still works in the books app. The problem was undoubtedly the update. Unfortunately I don't find solutions online either. If I find something I'll answer, I would be grateful if you did the same. Thanks

Thank you @andreaires it really worked…!! It came to my mind to delete it as well, once, but I was afraid I’d lose my bookmarks, but It didn’t. I thank you again.
