I did a backup of my phone on I cloud which included whatsapp chat history. However, when I restored the backup, all whatsapp data were lost and I received a message that there’s no backup for whatsapp. Is there a way to check if the Icloud backup has whatsapp data or not?

An iCloud backup does not include WhatsApp data. The WhatsApp backup is built into the settings for WhatsApp and must be enabled there. The developers of WhatsApp chose not to use iCloud backup and instead built their own app’s backup into their app itself.
