iPhone 13 changes Audio Input in Carplay

I just upgraded to iPhone 13. I have a 2020 Honda and connect via USB. When I set a navigation destination either manually or via Siri, the system will revert my audio input to Apple. I had a Sirius XM Station playing through the car's audio. When I tap on the screen and hit "home" to navigate home, siri will give the first instruction and then there will be silence. When I check the audio setting, the audio input is changed to Apple. I had an iPhone 11 on IOS 15.0.1 and did not experience this issue.
