Iphone12 mini texting in landscape mode

Are you able to turn the device sideways for other things? If not, it may be in rotation lock.

swipe down from the top tight corner, and if it’s red, press the little rotation lock button.

then try again…

there may a problem with the phone. Depending on where you bought the phone, you may be able to return it.

This is a screenshot on my iPad, and if it is red and white, then rotation lock is ON.

if it looks like the others, then rotation lock is OFF. In my screenshot, my iPad is currently rotation locked.

to access the control center on your iPhone, swipe down from the top right of the screen.
