Why can't I delete text messages on iPhone

Hi.

I can not delete the entire conversation in a text message with one button in iOS 15.

Previously, I could select the text message > more > delete all and clear in entire conversation but this function is not available on the iOS 15 upgrade.

Is this permanent? Do I need to change a setting, or is there an error in the update?

Thank you.

Hi Bob. Thanks for your kind sentiment, it is greatly appreciated.

I'm glad to hear the notes idea works out for you for now. I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for the other option to come back though miracles do happen, it is Christmas time.

It can't be the other way around because we've had technology for quite a while now and the one thing that is not occurring is simplicity. I suggest that it is in the design to confuse and bewilder. If the world was a business then its model must be to become more complicated and more uncertain, to use more and to cost more, and to leave less and less to those who need it the most. I mean, if you believe the advertising; reality is failing dismally. Reality is the accurate picture of an outcome of design. The kingdom of man hey; such a disappointment though hardly unexpected in a place of entropy. Everything goes rusty and the moths eat it up.

Merry Christmas Bob.

Cheers. Andrew.
