Removing apps

How do I remove offloaded apps that won't download to free up storage? I have so many apps that my kids downloaded that were on auto download to my phone and I have an insane amount of apps. As soon as I download an offloaded app and remove it, a new app shows up in it's place. I want to delete about 40 apps. Please help.

If you want to free up space, you need to Delete apps, not Remove them..

you can delete from the App Library by locating the app and tap/hold, select Delete App

or you can go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > [app name] > Delete

If you are unable to delete apps, check:

Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps

make sure that's set to 'Allow'
