Qwerty keyboard on Apple Watch Series 7

When you open a text message is the response box. Tap the response box and the Qwerty keyboard opens. At least it does on both of our Series 7 watches.

If however, this is not the case for you and you did indeed have the keyboard before you did the update, Force Restart your Apple Watch (something recommended after updating your watch), by pressing and holding BOTH the digital crown and power buttons at the SAME time (keep holding) until you see the Apple Logo, then leg go and your watch will restart fully.

The advice saying keyboard is only available in English appears to be incorrect. I tested by changing to Italian, then hit the Messages app on my watch. The prompts in Italian are "Crea messagio" (button, x2) and you should get the keyboard.

I can't upload Watch screen shots until the pictures sync from iCloud to this MacBook, but please post back if you need the screenshots as a guide and I will add them later today.

I had the same problem as you have.

If you set the language to English US and let the watch restart, go to the message app and swipe up there you select the keyboard and then it should show.

It is working for me now but it's very small so i dont recommend it and am changing the language back to Dutch:D

You have to set your watch in English and then you will see the keyboard and you can type in your language but the autocorrect will be in english

It’s only english US, i changed country to united states aswell and restarted μ watch and now it works

Hi, on your iPhone go to Setting - general - Keyboard, then turn off the predictive or any related function. Hope this will work

Any idea how to disable suggestions when typing? It is very annoying when it replaces the words writen in another language with english words

At the moment, QWERTY keyboard only appears to be available when English is the main language set on the watch.

Open the Watch app on iPhone, go to General, then Language and Region and then change the language to English

AW7.

I bought my AW7 today but it dosnt show me the Little „arrrow” to tap it to get the keyboard. It shows me only the option to write on my iPhone.

default language set to PL.

So its a Bug or it only works on Eng ?

Changed the language of the Watch to Eng(USA) and it still dosnt show.

I have also the same issue but in Swedish. Talked to the Apple Support and they informed me that only the English language is availiable for the keyboard.

Is this true?

It’s not that! I try everything but can’t turn it off…

And I can’t find information do I can put Bulgarian keyboard on AW7…
