will a macbook air with M1 chip run logic pro?

Thinking of buying the new macbook air with the M1 chip. I'd like to run Logic on it. My projects are relatively simple, but I'd like to use some plug ins. Will I be ok?

Hi Wiley,

Yes Logic is supported and will run on M1 with Big Sur. You need to be aware that MANY users have had issues with legacy interfaces, third party plug-ins and MIDI drivers. This is not an opinion, scan the forum for postings and you will find pain and frustration.

Prior to the move/commit to M1 make sure to verify that your interface and any mission critical third party plug-ins or equipment FULLY support M1 and Big Sur.

I hope this helps.
