iTunes purchases on a different email account?

When I first started using iTunes in the mid noughties, I was using an old email address to purchase songs. I then moved over to my mac address for purchases.

Is it possible to transfer those original purchases over to my mac address or associate them with my mac address in some way? I have to have logins setup for both email addresses in order to listen to the tracks I purchased years ago & the more recent additions.
