Auto lock in iPadOS 15 no longer can be set by user

In the new iPadOS you can’t change the auto lock time anymore. It used to be a user setting, now it’s set to 2 minutes and it can’t be changed. Why delete a feature ?

‘if this iPad and iPadOS 15 are supposed to sense when I’m not paying attention, that feature doesn’t work if the device is on a reading stand at an angle. The camera is looking over my head. Please just give us user control over this function.

I had this issue too, but found that turning off Low Power Mode in Settings > Battery took care of it. After that I could change the Auto-Lock timings as usual.

Well, I did resolve my Focus issue- I turned off Focus on the iPad and the iPhone, and turned off share between devices... that fixed it perfectly. I also left Screen Time off, turned off notifications on all my apps except for Code Red (disaster warning code).

If your technology is controlling your behavior, beware- the technocrats got you... the new diagnoses for this century will be hunchback disease, ocular irritability, advanced debilitating arthritis of the hands, and psych dysphoria requiring heavy medical drug amelioration...
