Choose Files To Upload Won’t Show Photos

Hello! I work in social media marketing, and often when I attempt to upload photos, I select upload, and the “Choose Files to Upload” box pops up, but the photos take a long time to populate and sometimes do not populate at all. I continuously delete stored content, but sometimes that seems to have an effect and sometimes not. I currently have a MacBook Air 8GB, but it happened on my Pro 16GB too.

I would love to know if there is a magic amount of storage that stops this from happening or a setting I’m unaware of. It is very frustrating and time consuming. Thank you!

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.6

Hi

It can be a bit flakey.

Personally I export the images I want to a folder first, and then upload from there. You should do this anyway for web display - especially professionally. It rarely makes sense to upload a full size image, and you need to export to change the size.
