What is possible fix for oversized screen every time on start up?

Mac mini, macOS 11.6

This is what worked for me:

  1. Boot up computer, you should now see that your screen is too large to see the menu bar at the top.
  2. Use your remote FOR YOUR TV SETTING (mine is a Toshiba-Tv) go to menu.
  3. Picture
  4. Theater Setting
  5. Picture size
  6. then choose "Native"

You should now see your menu bar at the top with adjusted setting, restart computer and the new setting should be saved for every time you start-up.
