Animoji not working

I just upgraded my iPhone 12 Pro Max to the iPhone 13 Pro Max and I’m running into numerous bugs. The straw that kind of broke the camel’s back for me is issues with the Animoji’s. It does not work, then it gives me a message saying, “Face tracking failed” and tells me to “tap to retry”. When I do that nothing happens. Please help.
