Apple News Today App Customization

I really like the Today feature of the Apple News app on my iPad. It gives me apparently random news stories that I can select and read. What I don’t like it the frequency at which it feeds me articles from Fox News. I like to have a one now and then so I can see how they frame a particular issue but I do not want a steady diet of Fox News.

It’s there a way, if not I’m requesting it as a feature, for me to modulate the ‘randomness’ of the feed? I thing a percentage would be good. I think there should be some sort of user interface into this algorithm.

We understand that you’d like to customize how often you’re being shown specific news sources within the News app.

Apple does have a feedback site available where you can provide just this type of input and suggestions on what changes would provide a better experience for you. Here’s the link - Product Feedback

You can tell News what your preference is for type of stories. Just tap Today, then the three dots below a headline and tap ’Suggest More’ or ‘Suggest Less’.
