Devices not syncing "well".

The word "well" is a key word here: Texts, voice memos, and emails are received on my Mac, iPad, and iPhone, but if I delete something on one device, I would expect it to be deleted on the others, but deleted items usually remain.

I said "usually" because one way I can get things to sync is to delete everything on all devices. (I am not one of those people who keep everything. Once I read it, it's history.) If I start from scratch and everything is cleared, a deleted item on one device will be deleted on the others, but after a few days, the deleted items remain.

Any ideas?

Hi Tim Murray2,

We'd love to assist you with managing content over multiple devices. First, does the issue still occur after restarting the devices using the steps in each article below?

Restart your iPhone

Restart your iPad

Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac

Also, for the text messages, are you managing them with Messages in iCloud? You can check to see if that feature is enabled using the steps here: How to delete messages in iCloud

Lastly, let's check for available software updates and make sure all devices are running the latest software by completing the steps in the articles below.

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Update macOS on Mac

Best regards
