How do you lock a note using iPad Air 4?
I set up a password in settings but still don’t see a “lock” option within the notes app.

Thank you. I did read that article before posting my question. Now that I reread it I saw this “,If you're signed in to iCloud with a Managed Apple ID, you can't lock your notes.”
I’m new to apple products, this iPad Air is my first device, so how do I know if I am “signed into iCloud with a Managed Apple ID? Maybe this is why I don’t see the option in the Notes app?
Ok, I think I figured out the problem. The note I was trying to lock contains a tag I set up within Notes so that it would be stored in a Smart Folder. I just created another note without a tag and the option to lock was available.
I am glad you found the solution.
