Not receiving Apple announcements, Apple News newsletter, TV, Apple Music etc

I have a very strange issue which has only just occurred since custom domains came available as part of iCloud+.

I have two custom domain which I have setup and they are working perfectly apart from receiving Apple announcements, Apple News newsletter, Apple Music etc since enabling custom domain I have not received anything from these subscriptions other than emails from purchases and security alerts etc from apple.

I’ve managed to narrow it down to two apple domains with the problem anything at applemusic.com and InsideApple.Apple.com

At first I thought it was just DNS propagation but after a week still nothing, I have tried unchecking the subscription boxes both on the Apple ID page and via my iPhone and leaving for a while then rechecking then and giving it 5 days and still nothing. I’ve also removed the domains and added them back.

I contacted apple support which did try there best but resulted in no resolution after try everything I’d already done, to be honest I don’t think they really understood the problem.

I know custom domains are still new and there will be bugs but has anyone else seen this issue or know a fix?
