My Fitness App has a Move Streak broken

My move streak has been broken on Weds 20th October although I have continued to close my rings each day with problem. I've re-started both iphone and Apple watch to no avail. Any suggestions?

Here is another forum members solution,rather drastic but it worked for them;

Anyone’s fitness activity ring and steps taken not working? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Tried everything that was suggested when i looked it up and it still doesn’t work. My fitness app isn’t working properly. The watch which was sitting on my desk while I’m asleep says I’ve been standing for 8hrs out of the 12. It doesn’t do that when I charge it though. When I have my watch on. And mind you I am out and about every day. My move ring shows 0 and no calories burned, nos steps taken. Exercise ring stays at 1 and doesn’t budge. I tried everything from reinstalling the app to resetting my watch and even completely unpairing, deleting all fitness data from my phone and watch and repairing it.. still doesn’t work. This has been going on for about two weeks. Anyone have the same problem as I do?

Fitness app problems on iOS 16 So I got a unique issue here. As of a couple weeks ago at work there are now long stretches of time were I can’t wear my Apple Watch. I figured no biggie though the new version of iOS will have advanced fitness tracking, so I can accurately record my activity during my shift even when I can’t wear my watch. Im constantly moving for upwards of 10 most days. Now most days I have to put my watch in a locker. The thing is though I think the activity app is still trying to pull the activity info from my watch and not my iPhone. As I said, I’m on my feet for my entire shift. It doesn’t make sense to me that the activity app on my phone says I’ve been standing for two hours when I have really stood for over 8. Do you think this problem could be solved if I turn off my Apple Watch before I start working? Or is the fitness app just not working for others as well? both my watch and iPhone are up to date
