Text message forwarding
test messaging forwarding does not appear even though my phone number and Apple ID email address shows how do I enable it

Text Message Forwarding is for relaying your Messages to other Apple devices signed in with the same Apple ID
If you want to forward individual texts to someone, you should be able to tap/hold on the Message, select the More... option, then tap the forward arrow at the bottom right.
