Spatial audio not available on MacBook Air m1?

Same issue here. MacBook Pro 16" 2021, is very frustrating. Spatial audio is available from Safari, but is not from Apple Music.

We know. Most people here are trying to play the correct media and the issue persists. It seems to only be on Apple Music though.

yeah maybe it is some random Apple sh*t that it is only possible when you use there first party applications🥲

Authorization once again works for me! Only for downloaded ones (streaming still not possible) but it's better than nothing.

btw "Dźwięk przestrzenny" is Spatial Audio in Polish :)

It work perfectly for me when I'm streaming or watching a video/youtube on safari, but when I use apple Music it's greyed out, I mean Apple music is where it should work in the first place.

True, since on iOS / iPadOS it works perfectly fine.

I already raised feedback to apple FB9760006 on the 15th of November.

Yeah I use my iPhone 12 and have a perfect experience with the audio even if I use the browser

same problem and the apple's help center knows nothing about it. Here in Italy they just told me that it is no longer available for MacBook Air m1

Yep that's exactly what they told me here in India too. They said the MBP 2021 have that feature exclusively.

Its funny how they don't even know about what they are selling out.

This thing is crazy! The only application on which it should be useful to have streaming spatial audio (Apple music) is the one it doesn’t work on at all. But does Apple read this forum?

From my experience and from tests it is not a real spatial audio but only just visually showing in the menu bar
