Spatial audio not available on MacBook Air m1? Running the latest OS Monterey. My settings show selected in both Music app and System Prefs. My AirPods Pro work fine on my iPhone with both Atoms and spatial audio.
Well I suggest that you reopen your case and contact them showing them this...

UPDATE: I spoke to a senior advisor that actually escalated this issue to the engineers (disk image was sent and a follow up was booked). 2020 M1 macs DO have spatial audio support.
If enough people escalate this issue to the engineers we will be able to see this issue actually get resolved!
same problem and the apple's help center knows nothing about it. Here in Italy they just told me that it is no longer available for MacBook Air m1

Yep that's exactly what they told me here in India too. They said the MBP 2021 have that feature exclusively.

This thing is crazy! The only application on which it should be useful to have streaming spatial audio (Apple music) is the one it doesn’t work on at all. But does Apple read this forum?
From my experience and from tests it is not a real spatial audio but only just visually showing in the menu bar

Same. Now offers "off", "fixed", and "head tracking.
Amusingly - some of the songs in Apple's own "spatial audio" hits - don't appear to have any spatial audio settings!
same idk why my airpod pro’s spatial audio doesn’t work on my apple music when i use it with my macbook air but works well with my iphone.
Same Problem. 2021 14" MacBook Pro with M1 Pro. I wish someone from Apple would address this.
