iOS 15.1 Calendar app is laggy and unreliable

I installed iOS 15.1.1 today, which fixed the issues with my Exchange calendar I had since iOS 15.1 😃

I deleted my enterprise account from the Mail app and downloaded the Outlook app. Only use Mail for gmail now and all works great!

Same. I also got offered iOS 15.2. Problem fixed!

yeah, ios 15.2 solved issue on iphone and ipad.

Fixed 15.2 on my unit at least....

I confirm, 15.2 brought back to life my calendar!

Can confirm 15.2 fixed this for me as well. No offense to any of you -- I enjoyed commiserating with you -- but I hope to never visit this thread, ever again!

I am having the same issue on my iPhone 12 Pro.

I have found a sort of workaround to get the display to act normally.

When you are looking at a day in your calendar and you are sure it is displaying incorrectly (or just want to be sure) switch to Dark mode and back to light mode (or whichever the inverse is).

In my case I have dark mode controls in my control centre so it is a quick couple of swipes.

The issue as I said, is knowing that your calendar is displaying incorrectly in the first place...

Finally I found a workaround after lot of trial and errors including uninstall & reinstall calendar App. Option is to Unselect Day view and go by week view. This will have better performance and no lag.

I have had same issue with iPhone 8 and iOS 15.1. I isntalled Finnish calendar and it works fine. After some days I uninstalled the iOS calendar app. Reinstalled iOS calendar app back after some days and now it seems to be working.

Tried and reinstall everything on the phone and restore te backup prior to this and it dint help. So reinstalling only the calendrar app was a quite simple solution.

Same issue - very frustrating.

Another quick fix that seems to work is switching to the agenda view and then back to the day view. This works on my iPhone X. Surprisingly, my iPad mini 6 does not seem too manifest this issue at all.

I've been having severe lagging issues since I installed 15.1 in early October. I tried most suggestions, nothing worked. I just decided to see if deleting recurring meetings might help. I had an invitation to weekly zoom meeting on my calendar w/link to zoom log in. I delete this recurring weekly meeting and so far the lag has disappeared. Not sure why this would make a difference but I'll keep checking on post again in a few days w update on responsiveness.

Switch between Agenda and Week view or preview under month. Just go back to different date. With slight delay initially, it works some extent. Something better than nothing as we addicted to apple and never expected this kind of support from Apple.
