Screen saver broken in Monterey
When selecting the Photos library or a folder of photos, they do not render. Have tried various options (e.g., Classic, Ken Burns, etc.). No luck.

In Photos, with that library open, go to Photos->Preferences and click the button “Use as System Photo Library”. Then instead of navigating to the folder, choose the library or specific album within it.
Call in to Apple support the technician can log on your Mac once you give them the go ahead…been there 1.000 times 😵💫
And they will probably tell you what they told me about this. That's the way it was made and there is nothing they can do.
11/16/21 Screen saver will not engage
Mine won't work either since I upgraded to Monterey.
This is the way.
Thanks, reported it.
I reported yesterday....grrr.
When will Apple fix Screen Saver use of personal photos? have tried everything I can think of to show my own photos!
There are a number of issues that Apple had not fixed in Monterey and that sucks! I expected MORE from Apple that putting out a new system with out getting everything fixed first.
I can't even see unedited photos.
I have a new M1 iMac Monterey (upgraded from Big Sur which it came with) and the picture folder is working fine for me. On my wife's 2017 iMac running Monterey, it is not working.
Where do you find this file from? Should it exist somewhere? Just the application file or?
Note sure but see if this will download. If it does you only need to keep that one file and the others can be deleted:
I downloaded the file from the link, I double liked it, but it just opens. What do I do with this file, does it have to be placed in a specific folder?
Thanks.
My mac is late 2015, and does note work. Newer Mac Air works fine.
