Screen saver broken in Monterey
When selecting the Photos library or a folder of photos, they do not render. Have tried various options (e.g., Classic, Ken Burns, etc.). No luck.

I wanted to edit this to add to it, but can't do that, so here we go. I did notice on the iMac that if I pick any other screen saver, Monterey, Hello etc. they work, it is just with photos that they do not work.
From what I have read Apple did nor include that capability with Monterey, and has not said if/when they were going to address putting it in.
There are a number of issues that Apple had not fixed in Monterey and that sucks! I expected MORE from Apple that putting out a new system with out getting everything fixed first.
I can't even see unedited photos.
I have a new M1 iMac Monterey (upgraded from Big Sur which it came with) and the picture folder is working fine for me. On my wife's 2017 iMac running Monterey, it is not working.
Where do you find this file from? Should it exist somewhere? Just the application file or?
I downloaded the file from the link, I double liked it, but it just opens. What do I do with this file, does it have to be placed in a specific folder?
Thanks.
Just curious if you are on an Intel machine or Apple Silicon ? On my iMac with Apple Silicon, not a problem On my wife's iMac with Intel, doesn't work
My mac is late 2015, and does note work. Newer Mac Air works fine.
The screen saver issue is addressed in the upcoming 12.1 update.
source?
There are multiple sources. Feel free to do a search for Monterey 12.1.
Good to hear.
The fix is in final beta testing currently so should not be long now.
