Screen saver broken in Monterey
When selecting the Photos library or a folder of photos, they do not render. Have tried various options (e.g., Classic, Ken Burns, etc.). No luck.

In Photos, with that library open, go to Photos->Preferences and click the button “Use as System Photo Library”. Then instead of navigating to the folder, choose the library or specific album within it.

There are multiple sources. Feel free to do a search for Monterey 12.1.
Good to hear.
We're healed! We're healed! Yay!!! (Monterey 12.1)
The photo display screensaver options do not, in fact, display any jpeg png or jpg.
Working fine for me and many others. But I see there are more than one that its not working for - so maybe they should post their exact specs and see if its isolated issue for those parameters?
All working for me as well. After this last update I can use the Photos Library or a folder successfully. I’ve tried multiple file formats as well, in the folder, and all work.
Screen saver is fixed indeed. However, this issue was known to Apple prior to release.

Agreed, only partly fixed. Appears to only use a folder called PHOTOS. Can not select another.
Are you saying you don't see "Choose Folder…" from the drop down menu?
[sorry may have been mistaken]
Same with me!
I spoke too soon. Half the time, I still get Lovecraft green on my monitors. So the problem still plagues me. I guess the folder renaming was no help after all.
Not for everybody it doesn't. Great that it's fixed it for you, but see above for several people who are still having problems.
No, it doesn't. Everything I've reported was done so on 12.1. As I said, Plugin-Alliance's last statement (in September) states that they are not native M1.
I'm on the latest and greatest. I still get green screens most of the time. I have one black JPG in a folder assigned to the screen saver.
