Screen saver broken in Monterey
When selecting the Photos library or a folder of photos, they do not render. Have tried various options (e.g., Classic, Ken Burns, etc.). No luck.
iMac Line (2012 and Later)

In Photos, with that library open, go to Photos->Preferences and click the button “Use as System Photo Library”. Then instead of navigating to the folder, choose the library or specific album within it.
Just tried Ken Burns, on the iMac and it does not work. I tried all the options with photos and none work. The minute I change to a "standard" screen saver it works.
Same problem here. Not working on my iMac... but works fine on my MacBook Air.
Have submitted a bug report to Apple.
I am not Robert, but it is working on my MacBook Air with Monterey, but not my iMac with Monterey
What year MacBook Air?
2020 not with the new Apple chip

Thank you. It's interesting. They do run on my M1 MacBook Air but not my iMacs or iMac Pro.
Exact same problem for me - come on Apple!
Same here, my MacBook works perfect, the iMac does not.
I'm seeing the exact same thing with the faint view behind the dark filter and the small preview window as expected. I'm hoping for a fix soon because the pictures were my favorite screen saver.
Works on my MBA M1 Monterey (2021)
Same thing here with my iMac. I've submitted a bug report as well.
Did that before I posted here. It’s still ok to check others’ experiences, right?
Same issue here. Submitted a bug report here Feedback - macOS - Apple but honestly, this is really annoying and hoping it is resolved soon.
Thank you for the heads-up for Brooklyn, it's very cool :-) ... still want my mac to work though Apple :-)
Yes, it works fine on my 2019 MacBook Air. Not my Retina 5K 2017 iMac... Both are running Monterey.
