Screen saver broken in Monterey
When selecting the Photos library or a folder of photos, they do not render. Have tried various options (e.g., Classic, Ken Burns, etc.). No luck.

I wanted to edit this to add to it, but can't do that, so here we go. I did notice on the iMac that if I pick any other screen saver, Monterey, Hello etc. they work, it is just with photos that they do not work.
Same thing here with my iMac. I've submitted a bug report as well.
As I posted earlier report it to Apple.
Did that before I posted here. It’s still ok to check others’ experiences, right?
Thank you for the heads-up for Brooklyn, it's very cool :-) ... still want my mac to work though Apple :-)
Yes, it works fine on my 2019 MacBook Air. Not my Retina 5K 2017 iMac... Both are running Monterey.
Absolutely! We just got to let Apple know about it. You know, the squeaky wheel theory.
My snapshots work but not the scrapbook
Not working on my iMac 2020, MacBook Air 2018, iMac 27"5k or 2020 MacBook Pro.
So my 2 cents, Works on my 2019 MacBook Pro 16 inch, does not work on my 2016 Macbook Pro 15 inch...
Not just from Photos. I have a directory with photos that I point the screensavers to and that does not work either.
Mike is correct, my photos are not in the Photos Library. In fact, I created an entirely new folder to put the photos in, pointed to that - and still didnt work.
You're right. I did test that and was unable to get it to work. Forgot to mention it.
Be sure to report it Apple and frequently.
Isn't it kind of inexcusable for Apple to do a major OS release without checking out important features like this first?
FWIW, works fine with my M1 MacBook Air. Does not work with any of my intel Macs.
i am using a late 2015 27” iMac.
none of the images screensavers work.
