Very low sound on calls and FaceTime

Hi since upgrading to iOS 15.1 I appear to have very low sound on all my calls and FaceTime where I can hardly here the person on the other end, volume are all up to maximum, iPhone 13 pro max , any help appreciated

I suggest testing in both speaker mode and as a regular phone to your ear, to rule out a speaker problem. If you have Bluetooth like AirPods or a handsfree in the car test there as well.


It would be a good idea to try a Forced Reset (reboot). Press volume up, volume down, then hold the side button until the Apple appears.


When you know more about the problem, your iPhone 13 PM is still within warranty so contact Apple Support for more advice.


Edit: Corrected to remove reference Apple Watch.. it's an iPhone in question here!
