Bluetooth headphones stutter on Macos Monterey 12.0.1

I'm also having problems with my WH-1000XM3, there is an audio lag. I've tried disabling AirPlay Receiver but it doesn't work for me. I hope this issue will be solved ASAP.

Since at least 3 of us here have the issue with M1 macs that theory is obviously wrong.

This is happening to me with my XM4's as well especially when trying to stream video from Netflix, Disney+, etc... nothing seems to resolve this!! Very frustrating.

You’re right. I confused the two. I am still having issues with the connection stability and audio quality with my headphones.

turned off airdrop and still stuttering

This workaround not only solved the Bluetooth audio issue but the Bluetooth mouse connection being chopped as well! Thank you!

Thanks, unfortunately this didn't fix my problem (WH-1000XM3 Monterey 12.3.1). Still haven't found the fix, but audio, particularly on Youtube, lags and makes people sound slow and drunk.

I have the same problem after updating to Monterey 12.3 (WH-100XM3 headphones).
