My Iphone 13 pro screen itself turn Pink (purple) and Randomly Crashing

I use an iPhone 13 pro for a two day and my screen turns pink for a few seconds and then reloads. It happens all the time, so I can't use my iPhone. Why?

My iPhone 13 Pro Max screen itself turn Pink (purple) and can’t open.

My phone has only been unboxed formore than 10 days, no drops, no water.

I was using it, but the screen turned pink and there was no way to open it. I tried to turn off but it didn't work.

It continued the next morning. I'm too tired. 😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓

Why? And and what should i do to fix it?

I had the same issue with my iPhone 13 Pro Max

Starting from Nov. 13th 2021

Description:

unexpected restarts with screen off

occasional pink screen crashes randomly

the device became almost unusable

I tried restarting, resetting settings and every solution I found online but with no success.

So, I handled my device to Apple (Nov. 16th) and they were very understanding of the issue. At first glance the diagnosis was a faulty motherboard. And they offered to fix it.

There are two major disappointments in my case:

1- They can only offer something called "Back System Replacement" simply keeping my original screen and camera system and replacing the faulty parts. Problem is the phone is only active for less than 2 months and I would be so happy if they can offer a brand new replacement unit. It is not so nice to have my iPhone guts out after this brief amount of time. And my iPhone would be marked as "fixed" so I will lose the value of my device when trying to sell it in the future.

2- The process will take from 7 to 14 working days. So maximum of 18 days which is about half the time I had my iPhone in my pocket, again so disappointing.

Final thought: Apple customer care is not as wonderful as before. I'm now with no decent device in my pocket and I paid a premium device expecting to find a premium kind of service. Something very natural is a replacement unit.

Will post any updates as soon as I hear back from Apple.

It happened to my 6 days old iPhone too. I am very careful with my phone and do not want to drop it or get scratches. Unfortunately, Apple Support is not really helpful as all they say is “I understand your situation, blah blah blah. Then will ask to bring the phone to the service center. I brought the phone to the service center after I tried all the available solutions online. They confirmed it is hardware problem. I really do not want it to be opened for repair or replaced with a refurbished phone because it is practically very new. But I had no choice. Apple Support is really frustrating. After a few days they called me and said I can pick up the phone as it is not a hardware issue. That they only charged the phone and it worked. So basically, I just wasted money, time, and effort plus worried about what will happen to the phone. I took the phone home, which was not really resolved. I just lost all my data. When I started setting it up, then the problem started again, and it is continuing to happen. I know that if I contact Apple Support they will just ask me to bring it to the service center and it will just be another cycle of unresolved issue.

It is very frustrating that I was in a middle of a call and it suddenly malfunctioned, so the call ended abruptly. If I am outside and I always use my phone to book for a ride, pay, and search for stuff, and it suddenly malfunction, then I wouldn’t know what to do. I’m sure Apple Support will say, “Sorry that you have to experience that, blah blah blah” but will never really resolve the issue.

The phone is very expensive but unreliable. The stress that it is causing me and its effects on my mental health thinking about how I trusted Apple and paid a hefty amount for a malfunctioning unit but not getting proper post sales support is very very disappointing.

I regret buying this phone, given that I am not getting the support and response that I need from Apple. If only I could turn back time.

That happened to me too so I took it to my local Apple store. They said it was because it didn’t download the latest update (even though it is set to automatic updates). I was sent home because the update takes 30 minutes. After about 5 minutes, the phone says it can’t update. Now it’s crashing and turning off.

I just switched to Apple and it’s very disheartening to have a brand new phone not working. In 15 years I have never had so many problems with a cell phone not to mention a new one. I’ll probably just switch back to something that’s reliable.

Update: incongruent information even on my Apple id account. Began having the following problems - pink screen of death 1 time with reboot; câmera didn’t focus filming in low light condition; genuine 5w (iPhone 11) and 10w (iPad) chargers didn’t work, only charged with 20w and MagSafe chargers; not identified by MacBook when plugged in. Left it in Vodafone store last 06/12, had the information that was ready on the 14th, no call from Vodafone till 17th, went to the store, no one knows where the iPhone is. Started a call with Apple assist, got a different information that the iPhone was replaced, they didn’t know the company who recieved it and didn’t assume them as a Apple oficial repair entity. They didn’t even know what was happening and where the iPhone was also. Way to go Vodafone and Apple Portugal!

Having the same problem with iPhone 13 pro Max 256gb. Was sending a pdf by whatsapp, it froze with pink screen and restarted by himself. Besides that, the Lightning port is almost unnusable, I can only charge with the 20w Charger bought on istore - 5w genuine chargers or iPad 10w chargers with original cables wont charge, neither connecting it to my MacBook - doesn’t charge or even gets identified. But MagSafe charging with Belkin BOOST↑CHARGE PRO charges with no problem. With the 20w charger, it takes 3 or 4 seconds to start charging, it doesn’t start immediately as usual.

I was using Instagram on my 13 pro 256 gb iPhone when it suddenly turned pink for a split second and rebooted, so I hard reset it, rested my iPhone, updated it, and then called apple support, who ran a diagnostic and said my iPhone was normal, fingers crossed I don't do it again because I only got the phone a week ago, but it was disappointing nonetheless.
