Quicklook isn't working after Monterey update

Hello, yesterday I installed Monterey on my Air M1, but quicklook isn't working after the update.

I have to kill the process several times a day in Activity Monitor.

Is there any way to fix this?

MacBook Air (2020 or later)

Relaunching the Finder solved this for me as well. Hold down the option key and the control key, then click on the Finder icon in the dock, and then choose Relaunch. (I'm on an M1 Pro 14" MacBook Pro running Monterey 12.0.1.

Sure a relaunch finder works temporarily but this is not a fix - safe mode, first aid, etc, also not permanent fixes - last resort is to reformat the entire system - this has happened to me before on Catalina and only way it ever resolved was to do a clean install - i am having this same issue on monterey without any extraneous software - direct from apple store to home and having the quicklook fail after a while - just a bug i suppose

This is driving me nuts. I updated OS Monterey to the latest like it asked me a few days ago (12.1) and this still isn't fixed? This is seriously one of the best things about the entire OS to me, I use it constantly. Every time I sleep or lock screen it's broken again and need to relaunch the finder. WTF, apple? I have this blazing fast m1 mac mini (and a faster M1 mb pro on the way, it better work on that) why is this still broken? I do graphics and animation work and use this feature all day every day to check files/images that I'm moving around, it's really big, I can't be the only one. I know it's a simple fix, but to have to do it over and over because it's still broken? seriously..

I still have this problem, even after trying Safe Mode, Finder 'relaunch' and most of the suggestions on here (none even fix temporarily for me). Even after 'upgrade' to Monterey 12.2, still no QuickLook. This is one of the most useful everyday features of the OS for me and it is very frustrating to lose it with Monterey (worked fine in Big Sur - never had a problem). Am using Mac Mini (2020, so Intel). I am surprised Apple don't try to fix this as soon as they can.

Doing R&D for Apple: It looks like the solution for quicklook not working in Monterey is to boot in safe mode?* You guys are uniquely talented at figuring out the MacOS nooks and crannies, but if I followed all the troubleshooting advice each time something went wrong, I would not have time to work. Unless it's your job, where on earth do you find the time? Don't know about you, but I'm weary of being R&D for Apple. Because that's what's been going on for 25 years. *("be sure and install the latest software so you can debug MacOS for free!")
