I had same problem with my iPhone 12 Pro Max after upgrading to iOS 15.1. After troubleshooting with online support and then at the genus bar, we decided to perform a device reset but kept the data on the device. Since then I’ve restored my phone’s normal battery life of practically a full days use like I had before. Hope that helps someone else facing this issue.
Settings>General>Transfer or Reset Phone>Reset>Reset All Settings
Apple Should be held liable and accountable. It is a systematic battery drain that they are using to extort more money for batteries
Hey- system reset doesn’t do anything. It is the lamest excuse. Basically Apple wants you to go through all that BS, and it fixes nothing this is purely on them and the tech team.
Me too. Full charged phone just disconnected from power cord went from 100% charged to 5% in 5 minutes!
Since upgrading to 15.1 battery really bad. iPhone 12.
Done. Thanks for the tip!
I have submitted this 2 weeks back. Todays 15.1.1 is not something i will be downloading.. its probably going to hurt the battery more.. i will wait until They specifically address the battery
Thank you Manny999 - this is a genuinely helpful contribution.
Where do you find this news? Searching on web, i didn’t find nothing about battery fix on 15.1.1
Well no sign of 15.1.1 here on iPhone se 1st gen or iPad Pro 9.7 first gen in uk? Still both on 15.1 with no option to update
Thanks for the update. It is nice to know that they have eyes on it now.
Btw, my iPad Pro doesn’t have have 15.1.1 available yet which I was not able to state in my previous post.
I would also mention just one more thing about this issue: I have noticed that both the back & front of my iPhone 13 become quite hot during charging. Abnormally so in my opinion.
15.1.1 still not available on my iPhone se 1st gen?
