Correction
Sorry Eric, I meant to say Laptop. It was the laptop that doesn't accept my iCloud login. I posted another question earlier about problems with the Laptop. When I look at devices in iCloud on the laptop it says that it has been lost, sold, or given away. None of which are true. So the two problems must be connected. I guess I have to get Apple to recognise the laptop first.
So the password problem is fixed. I know the password now. Thank you very much.
So everyone please ignore the rubbish reply below.
It should be if you are using the iCloud address listed under that ID.
Thank You Eric.
Problem is when I added the iCloud email to my iPad email accounts it wasn't accepted.
:(
You are welcome. On the laptop, have you tried signing out of iCloud in System Preferences, restarting the computer, and then signing back in to see if that makes it show in the devices list?
Hello Eric,
Sadly that hasn’t happened.
I am going to delete any iCloud stuff on the Laptop restart and then reload.
Chris
Reloaded everything on the laptop.
I have the message again: “Lost, sold, or gave away this device”
Very Frustrating
Regards
Chris
